Specific Value Assessment ™
SBW created its Specific Value Assessment (SVA) to assist its clients in the negotiation phase of a divestiture or acquisition transaction.
SVA is a rigorous quantitative approach to establishing the real value of a healthcare product or product line among any number of prospective
marketers. Its premise is that each marketer possesses a differing capacity to maximize sales and profit through its ownership of a product,
product line or technology. Over time, therefore, the real value will differ among marketers. As such, SBW models the capacity of prospective
marketers to market and sell a technology by use of benchmarking, key driver marketing and sales performance factoring. The resulting output
establishes the “real” value by bidding parties.
SBW's SVA tool establishes a position for sellers and buyers to open negotiation on an equal or superior footing with their counterparts.
As a result, negotiations are informed, quicker and establish a supportable “real” value. The goal of the SVA tool is to ensure
the strongest position in negotiations for our clients.
